Brenda is a designer who is passionate about beauty, expression and the arts; and how these intercept with the world around us as design. She is interested in exploring the roles design can play as we navigate through a particularly challenging time in human history.
Formerly a soloist with the National Ballet of Canada, the Nationaltheater in Mannheim Germany, and Toronto Dance Theatre, Brenda brings with her a unique skill set and years of experience collaborating with creative individuals across disciplines.

ART DIRECTION AND GRAPHIC DESIGN AT GRAVITY, INC.
Ongoing work with a large range of clients from the nonprofit, public and private sectors. Work is carried out on multiple projects simultaneously, both collaboratively and independently. Areas of specialty include print collateral, identity development, brand application and responsive website design. Involved with the entire design process from concept development to client presentations, preparation of files for print and screen and coordination with print production specialists.

Responsibilities included concept development for the Munk School of Global Affairs’ website design, illustrative graphics, and logo design.
AUGUST 2010 INTERNSHIP WITH 52 PICK-UP
Responsibilities included Photoshopping images for Retail News magazine and preparing brochure outputs for client presentations.

One of three designers selected to be included in Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario’s Provisional Showcase, featuring the work of emerging designer members. A selection committee chooses individuals to be showcased “based on the quality, range and effectiveness of their work.”
